Mom is off to a R+F team-building weekend, so the boys and I decide to do a little team-building on the water…
We didn’t have anything really planned today, so we headed down past Green Cove Springs and found a quiet location to stop for lunch.
Just beautiful…
On the way back to the marina, we encounter a sunken sailboat. The boys thought that was pretty cool…it looked like Jack Sparrow’s boat. LOL

The weather has been so good this weekend and I thought the best way enjoy it was with another day on the water. Today, we departed from the Julington Creek Marina, and with a little throttle the boys soon have a blast maintaining their balance as the boat pops up-and-down. Adam says they’re surfing.
So, as we’ve done so many times before, we head up the St John’s to The Jacksonville Landing. Our destination? The ice cream shop! So, scoops all around…and a beer for me. 😉
One the way home, the boys got some driving in…
Okay…now I can go to work tomorrow!

It’s a crisp October morning. The boys are in school. A perfect day for a little Mom and Dad time on the water…
Part of the reason for today’s voyage (other than just some alone time) is to provide a little “Boating 101” to Cindy. So, we spend a couple of hours with navigation and docking before we head over to Whitey’s Fish Camp for lunch.
Great job, and not as easy as it looks. It’s just like parallel parking only the road is moving, too!
Lesson over! Now, it’s off to Whitey’s and some great catfish!!
